It's My Future! app for iPhone and iPad

It’s My Future is designed to support adults with developmental disabilities to become more self-determined and to meaningfully participate in their annual planning meetings. This App, produced by AbleLink Technologies, Inc. in conjunction with the Kansas University Center on Developmental Disabilities at the University of Kansas, provides self-paced videos to enable people with developmental disabilities to learn more about planning meetings. Eight sections cover topics such as Choice Making, Decision Making, Goal Setting, Community Living, Employment, Fun & Leisure, and Communication Skills. Narration, a written outline, and colorful graphics support people to understand more about self-determination and how to become engaged in their planning meetings.

This App can be used with one or more people to explain how one can plan for the future through self-determination. It’s My Future was developed by Susan Palmer, Michael Wehmeyer, and Allison Steffen to support people with developmental disabilities to self-regulate and self-direct planning for their lives and their futures.
